At the beginning of my homesteading journey, I was often frustrated with the information (or lack thereof) that I found online.
I would spend countless hours searching for basic topics on how to properly care for my livestock or how to garden in my specific garden zone.
While searching, I typically came across information that was:
- Vague
- Overly complicated
- Not even correct most of the time
If you have noticed this too, you have come to the right place! While I am no professional farmer, I do have the experience and results to share my homesteading practices with the world.
This blog was born out of my passion for gardening and caring for birds (chickens, quail, and ducks).
My goal is to provide information and content that is:
- Specific: my articles are written for average homesteaders that need specific answers to their questions
- Easy to Understand: my content is broken down into easy-to-read sections that are simple to follow and easy to understand
- Organized: the layout of the blog is neat and organized so that the information is just a few clicks to find what you need
- Accessible: nothing on the site is too complicated to understand or find – the information is clear, concise, and accessible to all
